Founder & CEO, D2 Communications
Danielle R. De Souza is a seasoned communications strategist with over 20 years of expertise in journalism, public relations, and crisis management. She began her career as a community journalist, later serving as a crime reporter for the largest daily newspaper in Westchester County and contributing to numerous print and digital publications.
Transitioning into public relations, Danielle has spent the last five years as a trusted spokesperson and public information officer for multiple major New York City and state government agencies. She has led high-stakes communications initiatives, managed crisis responses, and provided strategic counsel to senior government officials. Her expertise extends to media training, where she has prepared high-level executives, policymakers, and community leaders to navigate complex media landscapes with confidence and clarity.
